Building is More Than a Profession. It's a Lifelong Passion.
The founder of WestRock Construction was born into a family where construction was more than a profession — it was a way of life. For generations, his family built homes and worked in the construction industry. From an early age, he worked alongside his father on construction sites, learning the value of craftsmanship, responsibility, and doing every job the right way.
Growing up in a rural community also taught him the importance of hard work. Caring for animals, maintaining property, and building with his own hands developed the discipline and work ethic that continue to guide the company today. Determined to build a lifelong career in construction, he pursued higher education and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management and Operations, followed by a Master's Degree in Design Engineering, specializing in structural engineering for complex geotechnical and hydrogeological conditions.
